The Dream

Quintin emailed us this sketch, then he placed his jacket order. He asked us to not only digitize his sketch, but to also modify it to represent all 9 people on his line. He asked for our creative input, so we suggested converting the four Aces into 9 playing cards instead.

Quintin says:
"I came up with this idea with the collaboration of my frat. Our individual name was the 9 Kings of the Krimson Royale, so I wanted to incorporate everyone in the design. So I took kings and realized that I could draw a king from a playing card and do some editing and adding and that's basically how the idea and design started."

How do I get my jacket featured?
Just place an order. No other action is required on your part. Each month, we will select one order that we think is the most original and creative concept to date. We will notify you by email if your design is selected.

The Design

We digitized Quintin's sketch and put a detailed diamond pattern on the backs of the playing cards. The pattern created a sophisticated, textured effect which added dimension to the overall image.

We turned over the 8 of diamonds because Quintin is #8 on his line. Quintin loved the concept, and he loved how we polished up his drawing.

When his line brothers order, we will flip over their corresponding card to match their line numbers as well.

The Delivery

The final jacket looks awesome! Quintin tells us that he gets "oooohs" and "ahhhhs" whenever he wears his jacket.
